About

Hello. My name is Keith and I like wrestling books.

A pro wrestling fan since 1983 when I saw Sweet Daddy Siki drop kick some guy in green trunks and an avid reader since I saw my first cereal box, I grew up as excited to read about pro wrestling as I was to watch it. Thanks to the fine folks at WWF Magazine, the PWI family of magazines and, on occasion the lesser known mags (the ones with the ads for scantily clad women wrestling in hotel rooms,) my thirst for the written-wrestling-word was quenched but never satisfied.

With the pro wrestling book boom that followed the success of Mick Foley's Have A Nice Day, I found myself constantly buying and reading all I could get. Shortly thereafter, I began reviewing books on message boards and vendor sites. In May of 2015, I started collecting and editing these reviews and publishing them here at Wrestle Book Review. Of course, I continued reading and reviewing new works as well.

I hope Wrestle Book Review is a place where readers can get unbiased and thoughtful reviews of titles from major and independent publishers. I also strive to promote the genre of pro wrestling books which, while it is not as high profile as it has been in the past, remains a very active one. There are hundreds of titles published every year. Wrestle Book Review is not only a place to find reviews, but gives release dates, news and other information about upcoming and past releases. The site also has some links where readers can purchase books. A portion of your purchase price is given back to the site. If you are inclined to support the site, this is the best and easiest way to do so.

If you are an author, editor or publisher looking for a review, feel free to drop me a line at wrestlebookreview@gmail.com and I'll be happy to take a look and give my thoughts. I'm also open to working with members of the wrestling media community (podcast, print, etc) to help promote the dynamic sub-genre that is pro wrestling literature.

Thanks for reading.
